🌿 Community Yoga with Mountain Zen Yoga: Free & Accessible Offerings in Sevierville

Join us for our new Community Yoga Offerings in Sevier County! From gentle meditation and yoga nidra at the King Family Library to slow-flow yoga at The Ridge, our goal is to make yoga accessible and affordable for everyone in our community. Classes begin this fall — check out the schedule and join us in creating space for breath, movement, and connection.

At Mountain Zen Yoga, our mission has always been simple: bring yoga to the people. Since opening in 2018 as a mobile yoga studio, we’ve believed that wellness should be accessible, joyful, and rooted in community. That’s why we’re so excited to share our new Community Yoga Offerings beginning this fall.

✨ Why Community Yoga?

Yoga is for everyone—not just those who can afford a studio membership or private retreat. By creating free and donation-based opportunities, we’re opening the doors wider for our Sevierville and Gatlinburg neighbors to explore the benefits of practice.

These sessions aren’t just about stretching or moving; they’re about finding a sense of peace, creating connection, and reminding ourselves that wellness belongs to all of us.

Morning In The Woods

Goat Yoga in East Tennessee

At Mountain Zen Yoga, we believe wellness doesn’t have to be so serious. Especially when there are goats involved.

Nestled at the peaceful private farm of Pygmy Harbor in Knoxville, Tennessee, our goat yoga classes are unlike anything you’ve tried before. Equal parts grounding and hilarious, these sessions combine beginner-friendly yoga with the curious, cuddly company of pygmy goats—making it an unforgettable experience for birthdays, bachelorette parties, group outings, and spontaneous “why not?” adventures.

🐐 Meet the Pygmy Harbor Crew

The goats at Pygmy Harbor aren’t just cute—they’re part of the family. These pygmy goats are known for their small size, big personalities, and gentle nature. They’re naturally social, endlessly entertaining, and oddly excellent at photobombing your best downward dog.

Private Goat Yoga Session in East Tennessee

You’ll practice surrounded by fresh air, rolling pasture, and a tribe of four-legged comedians who might nibble your mat, nuzzle into your shavasana, or hop onto your back mid-pose. (Yes—it’s as funny as it sounds.)

🌿 What to Expect

Each goat yoga class is hosted by a certified instructor from Mountain Zen Yoga and held outdoors at Pygmy Harbor, a private farm location that offers the perfect mix of serenity and silliness. Our classes are designed for all levels and all occasions:

  • 🧘‍♀️ Mindful breathwork to start

  • 🐐 A playful, all-levels flow with goat cameos

  • 📸 Time for goat selfies and group shots

  • 💚 Space to reconnect with yourself and your people

🌄 Why the Smokies?

There’s a reason people say the Smoky Mountains are medicine. As one of the oldest mountain ranges on Earth, the Smokies offer a timeless backdrop for transformation. Here, in the cradle of ancient ridgelines and whispering trees, something magical happens: we remember what it feels like to breathe deeply, to feel light again, and to laugh without effort.

Goat yoga in this setting isn’t just novelty—it’s nourishment.

Yoga on Vacation: Why We Come to You

Yoga in the Smoky Mountains isn’t just about stretching—it’s about slowing down, reconnecting, and sharing something meaningful with the people you love. At Mountain Zen Yoga, we bring the mats, the music, and the energy right to your cabin or Airbnb, so all you have to do is show up and breathe.

And why the Smokies are the perfect place to reconnect with your breath—and your people.

Private Yoga Session in Galtinburg, TN

Let’s be honest. Sometimes you need a moment where your feet hit the earth, your breath slows down, and everything else can just… wait. That’s what Mountain Zen Yoga is here for.

Whether you're celebrating a bachelorette weekend, planning a girls’ trip, spending time with family, or just craving stillness in the chaos—we bring the yoga to you.

🌄 Why the Smoky Mountains Are So Sacred

Before we get into what we do, let’s talk about where we do it.

The Great Smoky Mountains are over 200 to 300 million years old—some of the oldest mountains on Earth. Long before planners and Pinterest boards and burnout, these ridgelines were standing quiet and powerful, reminding us to slow down and remember what matters.

The air here is thick with history, biodiversity, and presence. When you step onto your mat in the Smokies, it’s not just a workout. It’s an invitation to ground down, breathe in, and tune into something older and wiser than we are.

That’s why we do what we do—because yoga here feels different. And when you practice together, outside, surrounded by that kind of beauty? It creates something you’ll remember long after your trip ends.

Bachlorette Yoga in Pigeon Forge, TN

🧘‍♀️ What We Actually Do

We offer private, mobile yoga sessions in Sevierville, Gatlinburg, and surrounding areas. That means:

  • We show up to your Airbnb, cabin, or rental

  • We bring all the mats, music, and grounding energy

  • You get a guided, personalized class without ever leaving the house

Perfect for:

  • Bridal parties wanting a calm, connected moment

  • Families and friend groups looking to share something meaningful

  • Corporate retreats needing a break from the hustle

  • Beginners and skeptics who aren’t sure they’re “yoga people”

You don’t need to be flexible or fancy. You just need to show up. We’ll handle the rest.

🐐 Want Goat Yoga? Let’s Talk Yoga Adventure.

Goat Yoga at Pygmy Harbor Farm Knoxville, TN

We don’t bring the goats to you (because, well... logistics), but we do offer private goat yoga sessions at our partner farm in Knoxville.

It’s joyful, silly, and surprisingly peaceful—perfect for groups who want a lighthearted twist on the yoga experience. If you’re up for a mini adventure, this is a great add-on to your trip. (More info on that right here.)

💵 How It Works

  • Pricing is simple: $200 flat for up to 10 people, $20 for each additional guest

  • We come to you, wherever you're staying

  • Deposit holds your date, balance due at the session

  • Optional upgrade: Poses & Mimosas – a bubbly add-on for bridal or birthday mornings

📝 In Their Words

“Everyone felt comfortable—no yoga experience needed.”
“We all felt so grounded after. It was the best start to our day.”
“Honestly, one of the most peaceful hours of our whole trip.”

🌬️ Final Thought

Morning Yoga Session in Gatlinburg, TN

The Smokies are ancient. The air is soft. The moments are slower here.
Yoga in this place hits different—not because we make it fancy, but because we keep it real.

You deserve a moment to breathe.
To move, stretch, and connect—without pressure, without performance.

We’ll bring the mats. You bring your people. Let the mountains do the rest.
