Heather Jagels spent fifteen years at Scripps Networks Interactive, rising to Vice President of Creative Services for HGTV and DIY Network — two of America's most-watched cable networks. She led the creative teams behind launch campaigns for Property Brothers, Rehab Addict, and The Vanilla Ice Project. She earned Promax/BDA Awards, a WICT Rising Star Award, and a Chairman's Award for the work her teams produced.
Then she came home to the Smoky Mountains. She opened Mountain Zen Yoga Studio, built a boutique marketing consultancy, and launched Lantern Society — a civic journalism publication covering East Tennessee. She didn't trade one career for another. She brought everything she knew into every room she walked into.
She holds a Master's degree in Business from the University of Tennessee and is a 200-hour ERYT yoga instructor with ongoing training at Asheville Yoga Center. The throughline across all of it: intention. Strategic, human, and deeply rooted in place.
